Als je dus op een spectaculaire misdaadfilm hoopt kom je bedrogen uit, want Asher draait vooral om de hoofdprotagonist en de keuzes die hij maakt. Door het goede acteerwerk is de film onderhoudend genoeg, maar een beetje spektakel op zijn tijd had de film niet misstaan.
