It is just so painful to watch, you must be prepared for the worst. Review
It’s not just smart; it mirrors the society we live in, takes it and redirects the image towards all of us so we can start questioning each other – can’t we do better than this? Review
Through the beautiful performances, the film demonstrates the importance of life from every angle and why it’s worth living, no matter how hard it may look. Review
Dual is far from being perfect. But what is good about it is that Riley Steams does not try to turn his film into a grandiose affair, rather focuses on the storyline cleverly, makes a few adjustments and lets the actor do the rest. Review
The Event is a solid short film with believable performances by De Souza and Frank Mosley, perfectly supported by Jennifer Kim. Review
Molly (scarily good Molly Reisman) gets pulled up by the police officer during a failed merge on the highway. Review
Huella is a perfectly-shot short film that shows the audience the importance of allowing ourselves to absorb the loss, grieve the loved one, and let go of the pain, with scars, of course, that remains forever. Review
Master is an intelligent piece I personally enjoyed watching. Mariama Diallo proved herself to be a visionary filmmaker who recreated the film in a tone dark enough to convey the message. Review
Watcher is a character-driven psychological thriller that leaves the audience alone with the concerned protagonist who must convince us that she is not crazy. Review
As you watch the documentary on old footage, especially when you are young enough, you will find yourself shocked that every single frame and story told happened not long ago. Review
Joachim Trier makes an incredibly authentic female-oriented film, describing all the nuances of her life and vision the way only a woman would know. Review
Speak No Evil is an excellent Danish psychological thriller you will wish you never have to ever see again. Review
Girl Picture focuses on a subtle approach towards youth, a life they imagine for themselves, dreaming big, flying high and falling down immensely. Review
After Yang is a slow-burning drama that tries to be more than it can offer. Its philosophical approach does not make sense, as Jake tries to reason what he should have done in the first place. Review
It’s a refreshing, enlightening and important documentary that reveals too much information about the Irish Singer Sinead O’Connor who was not afraid of public or well-known misconception. Review
As soon as you realize Emma Thompson is attached to portray Nancy Stoke, all the doubts disappear. But even by her standards, this movie exceeds all expectations, especially in the last act. Review
Downfall is such an impactful and well-constructed documentary, you will be shaken to the core. Review
Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown are as funny as they could get. The two actors are brilliant in every scene, showing what happens behind the scenes of a for-profit institution they have built. Review
Oliver Hermanus delivers a touching drama with a subtle concept, Thanks to Bill Nighy’s performance, who does the right justification to it. Review
Cha Cha Real Smooth is a type of romantic drama that you will warm up towards only once it reaches the last act. Review
That’s what you can expect from this film, as it is like a gift that keeps giving to the point you never want it to end. Review
The film delivers a nail-biting story that shows how far a desperate war veteran can go when he or she no longer can tolerate abuse from the government. Review
When You Finish Saving the World is a predictable drama with a solid performance by Julianne Moore, while the rest of the cast, including Finn Wolfhard, failed to capture the essence of Ziggy. Review
