Even though it is a unique subject there’s too much going on and for sure someone could get lost in it all. Review
I cannot state more plainly that if you’re a crier and you need a good cry well look no further. As a film it’s a wonderful character study of both Nicole and Matt but moreso on Dane. Review
Bleeker Street has brought forth a really good production that struggles to be great in the face of the exquisite talent involved. Really it’s Waterston and Kirby that deserves far better. Review
Corbine’s craftmanship is simply fantastic. His narrative work here is really well done. Review
There’s some good acting here, even if the script isn’t exactly…good. That’s not to say that this particular film lacks in its attempted messages merit. Review
This might be Justin Timberlake’s best acting performance since The Social Network. His portrayal of Palmer comes across so genuine. Review
A loving tribute to a band that was always just one creative step ahead of the curve. Review
This such a unique and fascinating take on the werewolf film. Overflowing with a gothic tinge and a dark sense of dread. Review
This is a perfectly fine film with good performances. Ones that don’t stand out as much because of the obvious script issues and a lack of consistent pacing. Review
This piles up to little more then a waste of time. At not point in this does the meandering chaos coalesce into something useful or worthwhile. Review
Certainly a documentary like this has an agenda and it’s one I firmly think gets across beautifully. Review
Merciless in it’s mediocrity and a giant bore to boot. Anthony Mackie deserves more then this! Review
This is the first great documentary for 2021. Similar in delivery to last years Boys State which premiered at the very same festival last year. You’re rooting full stop for each kid throughout. Review
Passable only at its best moments this seems like a few too many half steps where instead the film could’ve really explored the grotesque nature of what caused the central conflict. Review
Yllka Gashi is astonishing here. Everything her Fahrije goes through is felt. It’s felt deeply and helps guide this film through to the end. Review
Three Oscar-winning actors working off of one and another. It deserved a better story with a far more satisfying ending. This is simply a case of a great idea with poor execution. Review
A weak script, and somewhat lost direction leaves the actors out in the cold. Review
It was not for me. I can say that. That despicable people currently possess the film, and that one of the producers is a terrible person will be two issues for the normal audience. Review
Mixing elements of other films well while also introducing its own spin on the genre. When it’s a comedy it’s hilarious. When it’s a crime film it lacks slightly, and as far as a romance it’s pretty good. Review
I get what the film wanted to do it just didn’t work. Review
This movie is a mess on the grandest scale…literally. Review
This is such a great display of acting from all four men at the center here. Review
This script deserves a more crisp direction. It certainly got the core performance it deserved. Vanessa Kirby is mesmerizing. Review
