Samara Weaving is fine here. Max Greenfield is sort of chewing all the scenery everywhere he’s in this thing. There’s really no reason for this film to be over 2 hours long. It’s inexcusable really. Recensie

This is a modern spin on what Who Framed Roger Rabbit did back in the ’80s. Melding live action with 2-D animation. Mixing in crime and comedy all the elements are there. Recensie

There are some moments in this that are genuinely funny, genuinely heartfelt, and genuine to the characters. Something here isn’t quite as good as it could be. Frankly, I think it’s the script. The performances are fine but the material doesn’t require much. Recensie

It’s a completely fine romantic film. All of the characters are likable and though you can see what’s coming with this script as if it’s written on cellophane it’s charming enough and well directed enough to satisfy that itch. Recensie
